Dear KEC Class of 2025 Graduates and Families,

We are excited to celebrate your achievements with you at the Safe Grad Dinner & Dance on Thursday, June 19, at the Club Regent Event Centre. This promises to be a memorable night filled with fun, music, and great company. To help the evening run smoothly and safely, please take a moment to review the important details below:

Event Details

• Address: 1425 Regent Avenue West
• Doors Open: 5:30 PM
• Dinner Served: 6:30 PM (no alcohol will be served during dinner, only during Safe Grad)
• Evening Ends: 1:00 AM (All attendees must be picked up by this time)

Check-In & Admission

• There will be 4 lines at check-in (Alphabetical by last name: A-D, E-L, M-Q, R-Z)
• Please be patient with your parent volunteers at check-in - there are over 500 attending the dinner, so please expect some delays.
• Valid photo ID is required for all graduates and Safe Grad guests.
• All guest names must match what was submitted in advance on your forms. If your guest has changed, you must notify us before Monday June 16. Email: kecgrad2025@gmail.com.  After this date no further changes can be made.

Safe Grad Dinner/Dance Guest Requirements

• Safe Grad guests must be between 16–20 years old.
• Guests must also present valid photo ID at the door.
• Grads and Grads dinner/dance guests MUST attend dinner to be able to attend the dance portion of the evening. If you do not attend dinner your admittance to the event will be denied.
• If a grad leaves early, their guest must also leave. If a guest leaves early, the grad may stay.

Dinner Guests

• Only grads and their Safe Grad guest may stay for the full evening.
• All other dinner guests (e.g., family members) must depart after dinner, we expect that to be around 8:30 PM.

Beverages

• Enjoy bottomless pop and our signature Grad mocktail – available all night at no cost.
• The cash bar will open for those 18+ with government-issued photo ID, but only after dinner guests have left and the official Safe Grad dance begins.
• No alcohol service during dinner.

Other Important Notes

• No large bags or backpacks allowed. Small purses are permitted and will be checked.  
• No outside food, alcohol or cannabis is allowed. Any found items will be confiscated and you may be asked to leave.  If illegal drugs are found, your parent and/or DD will be notified for immediate pick-up.
• In the event that rules are not followed, or any confrontations of any kind with other guests, your parent and/or DD will be notified for immediate pick-up. 
• Designated drivers must come inside to sign out both the grad and their guest. They must show valid photo ID.
• All grads and guests must be signed out and picked up before 1:00 AM.
